ABOUT

André-Gabriel Stunz is a French-German menswear designer based in Frankfurt.

His training runs through Comme des Garçons in Paris as well as Damir Doma, Tim Hamilton, and Hed Mayner. The formative lesson across all of them was the inseparability of idea, material, and cut.

He launched GABRIELSTUNZ at Berlin Fashion Week in 2011. The project was interrupted by personal circumstances and returned to full form in 2024 with the opening of his own atelier in Frankfurt — a three-person studio where design, pattern-making, and small-scale production sit in the same room.

The label made its Paris Fashion Week debut in June 2025, represented by Cube Showroom. In January 2026 it debuted at Pitti Uomo 109, where FashionNetwork named it among the standouts of the edition. It will return to Pitti Uomo 110 and Paris Fashion Week in June 2026.

ON STILLNESS

Strong clothing does not work through volume. It works through precision, posture, and resonance — the details that only reveal themselves on the second look. A particular drape, a considered construction, a pocket that sits where it is not expected to.

Fashion is consumed at a pace that leaves little room for depth. Stillness, for this label, is not withdrawal — it is concentration. Clothing that does not need to raise its voice to be present in the room.
